reading a lot
reading isn't really about knowing things. it's not collecting information like a human usb drive. honestly, you probably won’t even remember most of what you read.
it is about being able to think about the same thing in different ways. when you read, you have more angles. more ways to frame an idea. more mental references to pull from until something finally clicks.
after a while, the things you read slowly mix into your own perspective. other people’s ways of seeing the world become part of how you see it too.
it is also probably one of the cheapest and most accessible ways to expand how you see the world.
