my analog writing setup
i really like the writer deck trend that i've come accross recently, particularly its variety and the enthusiasm it carries. i follow this subreddit where people share their deck setups: writerDeck
there is also a website dedicated to writer decks: writerdeck
as i get inspired by other people’s writing and work setups, i want to share my own. my actual writing deck is just this notebook and pen. i find it the most convenient.
and my analog setup is this, and i’m very happy with it at the moment.
i use two notebooks:
- one for daily and monthly planning, to-do lists, and work
- the other stays on my desk, where I write down whatever comes to mind
i also use flashcards for japanese, and i have my kobo.
i do remember trying a similar setup before i even knew this trend existed. i matched my logitech keys-to-go keyboard with my kobo e-reader, and i found a photo of it as well:
