deleted chrome as well

i’ve gone a step further and deleted chrome from my phone.

i don’t use social media apps on my phone and most of my other apps are already time-restricted. but even with those limits, there’s still space for distraction and casual browsing is one of the last remaining sources. it easily sneaks in and mimics the endless scrolling habit of social media. it feels harmless at first, but before i know it, i’m caught in the same loop of consuming without purpose.

so I decided to run an experiment: what happens if I remove the browser altogether? over the next few weeks, i’ll see how often I truly need a browser on my phone for essential tasks. will life feel lighter without it, or will I struggle to get things done?

of course, i can still use my computer when i need to research or handle important tasks. this experiment is more about testing how essential a browser really is on a phone, and whether it’s worth keeping at all.

the shortcut would be getting rid of the phone altogether. but work and everyday conveniences make that impossible for now. so instead, i’ll keep walking the long road.
